The World is in chaos and we’re stuck with a Milli-Vanili President…

September 28, 2009

Obama addresses question about the importance of Writing at Rally in Fairfax, July 10, 2008. Question posed by Kristin of Northern Virginia Writing Project.

Although the audio of this video leaves much to be desired, we have a transcript making it easier to follow.
TRANSCRIPT:

Kristin’s Question: Senator Obama, I am Kristin Larsen. I am a school teacher and here with me are my teacher colleagues and Fellows from the Northern Virginia Writing Project. We were wondering what kind of positive impact writing has had on your life, and what words of inspiration you have for young writers.

Senator Obama’s Answer:

That’s a good one. As you probably know, I’ve written two books. I actually wrote them myself. I can’t claim that I now write all my speeches, but the important ones like the… speech in 2004 and my announcement speech, those were the speeches that I wrote. I learned how to write first of all by reading…and so that is why it is so important to make sure we’re reading to our children and sparking their imagination.

Senator Obama’s Response (cont.):
Over the course of last four years, I’ve made time to read all the Harry Potter books out loud to my daughters…even after I started to run for president. You have to make time to read to your kids…. Then I started keeping a journal when I got to college.

Senator Obama’s Response (cont.):
That was important not just in terms of teaching me how to write, but in teaching me how to think, because it forced me to figure out how reconcile different attitudes, how to process different experiences, how to express my opinions in a coherent way, how to develop voice, and so by the time I wrote the book, I had a better sense of where I had been, why I was doing what I was doing….

Senator Obama’s Response (cont.):
As a practical matter, knowing how to write is a good thing. When you are applying for a job, you will not be asked to text message, but to write.

NOW HERE IS THE PROBLEM:
Through the FOIA, it has been discovered, Obama didn’t write his books himself. ACORN and Weatherman, Bill Ayers did!

Literary Lion Obama Will Roar No More

(ht/American Thinker)

The major media will not likely tackle the emerging evidence of Obama’s stunning literary fraud, but the days of Obama’s boasting about his writing skills are just as likely over.

The immediate cause of concern at the White House is Christopher Andersen’s largely benign new book, “Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage.”

Andersen contends that the ambitious Obama, unaware of JFK’s own literary fraud, hoped to launch his own political career with a book as did John Kennedy with the discreetly ghost-written Profiles In Courage.

Despite a large advance, Obama found himself “hopelessly blocked.” After four futile years of trying to finish, Obama “sought advice from his friend and Hyde Park neighbor Bill Ayers.” This he did “at Michelle’s urging,” she being the more pragmatic half of the couple.

What attracted the Obamas were “Ayers’s proven abilities as a writer.” Barack particularly liked the fluid novelistic style of To Teach, a 1993 book by Ayers. This he hoped to emulate for his own family history. In fact, he had already taped interviews with many of his relatives, both African and American. The key sentence in Andersen’s account is the one that follows:

“These oral histories, along with his partial manuscript and a trunkload of notes were given to Ayers.” Adds Andersen, “Thanks to help from veteran writer Ayers, Barack would be able to submit a manuscript to his editors at Times Book.” The manuscript in question would become Obama’s 1995 memoir, Dreams From My Father, what Joe Klein of Time Magazine called “the best-written memoir ever produced by an American politician.”

From textual sleuthing, I had come to a comparable conclusion more than a year ago, namely that Obama had “turned the framework of his life over to terrorist emeritus Bill Ayers who roughed it in with his own darker sentiments and experiences.” Embedded here is a visual summary of this research, produced by Chris Kusnell.

Obama will go to Denmark to pitch for Olympics
Obama sent a contingent of about a dozen people to Denmark 2 weeks ago… apparently, they want nothing to do with him OR Chicago-

By JULIE PACE, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama will travel to Denmark to support Chicago’s bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics, projecting the highest-ever White House profile in lobbying for the international event.

Valerie Jarrett, a senior adviser to the president, told The Associated Press Monday morning that Obama will leave Thursday and join his wife, Michelle, in Copenhagen, where they’ll make the pitch to the International Olympic Committee. Obama would be the first U.S. president to actually appeal in person to the International Olympic Committee for an Olympics event.

The International Olympic Committee is meeting in Copenhagen to select a host city for the 2016 Summer Games. Chicago faces tough competition from Rio de Janeiro, Madrid and Tokyo.

The White House later formally announced the trip, saying that Obama and his wife “will both make presentations to the IOC during Friday’s session. They will discuss why Chicago is best to host the 2016 Summer Games, and how the United States is eager to bring the world together to celebrate the ideals of the Olympic movement.”

While in Denmark, the statement said, Obama and his wife also will meet with Queen Elizabeth and the president will meet with Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen of Denmark.

Obama, who represented Illinois in the U.S. Senate after serving in the Illinois Legislature, is a longtime supporter of Chicago’s bid. He and Michelle consider it their adopted home town, and he recently sent letters to selected IOC members, promising a “spectacular Olympic experience for one and all.”

“President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama symbolize the hope, opportunity and inspiration that makes Chicago great, and we are honored to have two of our city’s most accomplished residents leading our delegation in Copenhagen,” Mayor Richard M. Daley said in a statement. “Who better to share with members of the International Olympic Committee the commitment and enthusiasm Chicago has for the Olympic and Paralympic Movement than the President and First Lady.”

There’s NO prestige in having the Olympic venue hosted in Chicago!

Another LIE his supporters will spin away!

The constant outing of Obama’s Lies, one after another, hasn’t deterred them from keeping a brave face on. They have to be thinking his popularity will soon zoom up to pre-inauguration stats…

Sorry- to be the bearer of bad news but… the only direction Obama’s poll numbers are headed is….. DOWN…
