OBAMA NEEDS CLINTON

by William Bradley (Huffpo)

Bill Clinton wows the Democratic National Convention last night in Denver.

No big-time Democrat got more sideways with the rise of Barack Obama than the big dog himself, Bill Clinton. Wouldn’t it be ironic if it turned out that the former president needs to play a very crucial role in Obama’s elevation to the office he once held?

I think that, if Obama is to win, Clinton does need to play that very crucial role, and he can play that very crucial role. From what I know of Clinton’s schedule, he will be available, assuming that he and the Obama campaign can continue bridging what has been a very large gap. And from what I know of John McCain’s strategy, Bill Clinton can be an absolute difference maker in this election. quick-hit “He certainly gave a rousing speech for Obama last night in Denver”.

Now, I am not historically a big Bill Clinton fan. While I’ve found him likable and smart for a couple of decades, I worked against him when he ran for president in 1992. After he became president, I wrote a number of critical columns and articles about him and his administration. I did come to admire the many innovative global good works of his post-presidency. But after seeing in early 2007 that Obama was the emerging figure in the presidential race, Clintonian tactics began to grate.

My hope is to see a coalition. We are many groups with a common protest and hope for our Party to regain it’s honor. It is said there is strength in numbers. Obama’s campaign certainly proved that. What a mighty force we might become if the blog roll coalesced into one huge Party of resistance. Together we could accomplish what none could do alone. IMHO

    Good Morning everyone..

I will be working over this weekend on getting the rest of our site up to speed. I am not code proficient and am limping along driving the support staff bonkers with questions..

I have my Blogroll ready to insert in my side columns (a mirror image of riverdaughters…that should make it easy, right?) Nope, not that easy after all.. Something about CSS..heh! this will be another learnig experience..

While I have your attention.. This site isn’t going to be a duplicate or competitor of anyone else’s site…Blogroll yes, they’re our buddies..we want to stay connected..

This site will mostly be dedicated to a close examination of our presumed president..(who btw..no-one knows anything about) and continuing updates of the lawsuit filed in the a PA Court by Atty Berg…

    mumbling to self…
ok…I copied the blogroll code from rd’s site.. pasted it into what I assume is the right venue for my blogroll column and voila…nada) OK…reading further I am supposed to purchase CSS code …aka cascading style sheet code…um, ok..did that last night and tried several combinations of code + rd’s blogroll…result…nada)

Ok…If I don’t go food shopping soon my family won’t be too happy with me the rest of this holiday weekend…

Have a great weekend, everyone…and, well, you know where I’ll be..

    see you all soon!
