WOW! MSNBC rakes in $139 Billion Loan for supporting Obama?

November 16, 2008

Questions arise on the timing of a freshly approved government guarantee to MSNBC for a $139 Billion FDIC approved loan.. huh? Tweety wants to ensure Obama has a successful presidency?

There are several commentary’s here where “New America” fellow and frequent Fox contributor, Jim Pinkerton suggests msnbc is getting paid as a public relations firm promoting Barack Obama not only for conducting a successful presidency, but for helping him get elected. What with Chris Matthews curious misplaced tickle running down his leg and an obvious question : “Is that a gun in your pocket” or is it mounds of CASH earned as payment for your biased reporting over the last two years looking forward to the new politicsObama promised Washington?

Mark Finkelstien clones Chris Matthews into the James Bond side-kick, “ODD JOB” for his unrequited loyalty to Obama. I call Matthews, Obama’s “Valet of Valedictory!”

I think this is a serious question needing serious answers as Jim Pinkerton suggests. Will any resolution ever come from the prodigious approval of a loan guarantee of this magnitude from the FDIC to a news-broadcasting company owned by the largest corporation in the country, the light bulb company?

Pinkerton’s Money quotes:

“Well, Matthews is entitled to his opinion, although if he wants to run for the Senate in Pennsylvania in 2010 as has been widely reported he should resign and not have a platform on the air.

But I think that the overall culture of MSNBC was established when they changed their slogan, post-election, to “The Power of Change” [another story NB was first to report]. Now, that sounds a little bit familiar to the Obama campaign “Change We Can Believe In.” Maybe that’s not an accident.

But of course, I think the big story here, I think it goes right to what MSNBC’s up to as a strategy, is the news that the FDIC, which is now following election returns, is guaranteeing $139 billion of General Electric Capital debt. That’s General Electric Capital, as in General Electric, which is the parent company of MSNBC, CNBC, NBC. Now, for a $139 billion guarantee, I’d consider, I’d probably go more, I’d probably go all the way over to the Olbermann/Maddow territory. $139 billion.”

a comment from newbusters:

“The Media Is owned and controlled by the money “folks” in the CFR. So, for doing their job and helping the CFR’s man get elected, they get a $139 billion “loan,” as if they’ll ever pay it back. Welcome to The Third Way which spawns a hybrid between capitalism (it looks the same) and socialism (it isn’t the same). The Third Way is the brainchild of Adolph Hitler, according to Michael Savage. Need I say more? Welcome to the new Tower of Babel, Fascist America. For the uninitiated. CFR = (Council on Foreign Relations)

While GE does other things besides television, GE Ownership of television “spews” stations that sided with Barack Obama all year long does create a conflict of interest.

Lets not forget that MSNBC launched their programming into Africa on Jan 20th of 2008.

Mind you, technically, this is still the Buscho government. Which to me is just another confirmation that, since Cheney couldn’t run, they picked his cousin instead. The proof of collusion is mounting.

Thank you, Jamie.. Yes, linking up is fine.

Alessandro, I didn’t realize msnbc is in Africa and has been for almost a year. I wonder if they set up long ago to follow Obama’s campaign, election and inauguration?

    Quite a costly venture on a lark…
