Did Black America Make a Mistake Electing Obama as President??

May 4, 2012

Rather than concern for important issues affecting most Americans, like the ECONOMY, JOBS and IMMIGRATION.. We are constantly drawn into divisive issues beneficial to one person and one thing only-

“Obama and his re-election to the presidency for another four years.”

Had we been aware of Obama’s bruised mental state unable to transcend race for the greater good of ALL Americans; the outcome of the Primary Race against Hillary Clinton and the General Election against John McCain may have been the better places for drawing the line in the sand and fight for what we knew was the better track for the majority of Americans.  Had “we known” Obama was unprepared to advance America as ‘the Land of Opportunity’ ignoring issues improving the lives of all Americans, particularly the Black communities; the only conclusion drawn from the last 3.5 yrs of Obama’s stewardship of the once greatest country on earth is…. We made a mistake electing a man with a hidden agenda. A man who took advantage of the great, generous, hearts of 99% of all Americans who felt, ‘why not elect a black president?’, it’s time we demonstrate ‘we are ONE for ALL and ALL for ONE!’

Obama has taken advantage of the Constitutional values represented in America and turned them on their heads. He has undone the balance of power laid out in the three branches of government by the Founding Fathers using his Executive Power through signing statements, bypassing Congress, that  are to the detriment of the Republic and a democratic government.

Obama has chosen a Racist strategy for control of the narrative distracting from his record of non-achievement for the betterment of Americans.  You have to ask yourself… are race relations better or worse with black Americans since Obama took office?  Have black Americans advanced their culture using Obama’s strategy? Do they have more jobs, better homes, greater incomes, better lives for their families since Obama took office?  Has Obama advanced the the betterment of Black communities as he promised, during the 08′ campaign? I would say NOT- Have the Black communities understood and realized they were used to advance Obama’s dream to become the first black president?  And now their usefulness is for nothing more than to advance the destruction of the America that afforded them the opportunities to vote for a black man becoming president.

Even Oprah was misled- yet she stays silent about the exploitation of African Americans much less fortunate than herself, that suffer without relief from their messiah whose election promises have gone unfulfilled. If there is any doubt that Black Americans have been exploited by Obama and his Chicago thugs.. ask the tenants who were victims of substandard section 8 housing- Obama let them freeze for an entire bitter Chicago winter without heat- when they complained to their community organizer running for state senate, Barack Obama, asking him for helpthey were informed by Obama’s Law office, his office was  representing the builder/now landlord causing the problems.

It appears when Black Americans wake-up, it will be too late- If they are only concerned about color and race; they failed the first test recognizing a RED FLAG that appeared when tenants complained of a lack of heat in their homes in Obama’s voting district and fell for the usual excuses made by their messiah, Obama“It’s Not My Fault”- “Elect me president and you will see a CHANGE!

If Black America is Hoping for Change; re-electing a Bamboozler is not going to get you the CHANGE you were HOPING for.

Excellent, powerful post. Re: Even Oprah was misled- yet she stays silent.
No doubt silence is a major tenet of their ethnicity. It probably helped them survive as slaves. But their refusal to ‘tell’ on each other is now a major problem for police trying to solve crimes in places like Philadelphia. The technique has outlived its usefulness; is Oprah afraid, or reluctant, to help restore full communication among the races?

Imo, Oprah’s part of the problem. That “refusal to ‘tell’ on each other” is really racism on their part. Like you pointed out it had a purpose when they were victimized by slavery and its aftermath, but now there is an anti-white element to it. Oprah is not silent, but working with Obama to fundraise, amongst the upper class like Tyler Perry. She flew down to Atlanta for a fundraiser at his house, one of five fundraisers Obama attended in one day.

I think in zealously supporting Obama, blacks are squandering the moral authority their ancestors died for..

Personally, I think Oprah is afraid to fall on the losing side of the Winner and lose what is left of her adoring (AA) fans. Her semi-retirement, if you can call it that- buying her OWN network.. (for what reason?) but perhaps to maintain a presence in the public eye?

her credibility has fallen to the basement level evidencing strong racist ties- when Obama should never have been supported as the next president; Oprah should have stood with the women that made her the star she became because of their support. Translated: She should have shown her metal and stood with Hillary.. or neither one- for that matter.

Oprah met her Waterloo in 2008 and it’s been down hill ever since-

Thanks, zp for pointing out the under the radar fundraising. I wasn’t aware Oprah was still actively fundraising for Obama. At the same time, I’m not surprised… And the slavery guilt is getting old, real old.

I read this am, the UN is suggesting Land inhabited by the indigenous Indians of all tribes be returned to them… It never ends..

yes, the slavery guilt is getting very old. I think we should learn from the Germans, who rejected collective guilt for the holocaust. People responsible were punished, but the rest of society wasn’t guilty, and they don’t have the race card played on them for power grabs and blank checks either. The people responsible for slavery, lynchings and white water fountains are long dead. Nothing can be done now to rectify the past. Unless we give a-a’s a plane ticket to Africa to see if they like it better there. Forty years of affirmative action have resulted in high dropout rates, a gang culture and hate for whitey. Enough. But we are so conditioned to “be sensitive” that just saying that raises eyebrows in the politically correct crowd. I never enslaved anyone or killed any Indians. Why should I pay for it?

At times my mind drifts toward the Irish Famine when the topic is AA reparations. One of the most heinous tragedy’s against mankind that has been not only unheard of by most Americans but totally forgotten by current generations with Irish ancestry. (of course being half Irish the Famine is near and dear to my heart)Twenty years ago, a Memorial to the Irish Potato Famine was scheduled to be built in our capital city, but for some reason it has never gone forward. I was prepared to work my heart out for the fund raising as the site for the Memorial was a magnificent location, an antique brick industrial building overlooking the water at Fox Point nearby the city’s hurricane barrier. My point is, I’ve never heard the Irish bellyaching for reparations from the British for the descendants of the victims of that holocaust.

We moved on- fought for our own space, went to work for the next generation starting a new life in America. I don’t see that happening with AAs no matter how much money they think they are worth or what they are owed.

    Call Oprah- Dun givin’

Great observation! It’s important to learn from the past but not personalize it. It takes a little knowledge of history to realize there have been many such injustices along racial/ethnic lines in human history. Unfortunately, black history month focuses on the awful white Americans with their dogs and fire hoses, and aa’s personalize that to the exclusion of the bigger picture, especially how white Americans have changed in fifty years. I think some aa’s know the truth, but they seek power and ‘payback’ (like our preezy whose knowledge of history is suspect – he thinks people in Austria speak “Austrian”, LOL).

And what do the Irish owe the aa’s? Didn’t most of them come here after slavery was abolished? The Polish also. I guess they’re just guilty of being white.

I’ve been thinking today about that elite school for girls Oprah started in S. Africa. I wonder why she didn’t open one here in America – because non-blacks would have to be admitted? South Africa’s constitution has passage calling for rectifying the sins of the past, so an all black school for girls is OK there.

Or European? Elizabeth Warren’s claim of getting her high cheek bones from her supposed American Indian ancestry seems to be losing steam as genealogists looking into her ancestry records see no correlation between her and her purported Indian ancestry.

The Europeans, i.e. Polish ethnicities, for them, high cheek bones are all too common. High cheeks bones and the beating heart of an Irishman are a unique combination. (so they say- wink-wink)

Worse than that, she hasn’t kept a close eye on the administrative people she’s hired to run the school. Scandal after scandal of girls being molested and raped by school director’s and administrative staff- Now that is inexcusable that she couldn’t assign someone on her own staff as a watchdog over the school she supposedly created for the betterment of girls living in SA!
